Koogler Autoworks traces its roots back more than 65 years to a brand built on a longstanding tradition of automotive service and expertise.

The original business, founded in 1961 as Koogler Sales and Services, primarily specialized in motorhomes and campers. For more than five decades, the company served customers in the recreational vehicle industry before making a strategic pivot around 2013. That transition marked the beginning of a new chapter and ultimately laid the foundation for what would become Koogler Autoworks in 2026.

Based out of Staunton Virginia, we now specialize in (but don’t limit ourselves to) the restoration and resto-modification of vintage 4×4s and American muscle cars. Our goal is to revive these vehicles with modern components and capabilities while preserving the design, character, and spirit that made them special in the first place. By combining traditional restoration techniques with thoughtful modern modifications, we create vehicles that honor their heritage while being built to be driven, enjoyed, and explored with.

We believe the best vehicles are more than transportation. They are functional pieces of art, shaped by the people who build them and the people who drive them.
